COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Local fire departments responded to a 2-alarm fire early Thursday morning at a condominium complex, according to the Columbia-Richland Fire Department.
Authorities say more than 40 firefighters with the CRFD and Irmo Fire District were dispatched shortly before 1:30 a.m. to the Village Creek condominiums off Kay Street.
Upon arrival, they found heavy flames coming through the roof and front windows of a two-story building, with parts of the roof already burned away…
