This hidden Clovis museum has motorcycles from around the world

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Inside a Clovis home sits one of the most unique motorcycle collections in the country, built not just around flat track racing history, but around friendship and a lifelong passion for the sport.

The Clovis Flat Track Museum is home to dozens of flat track bikes, helmets, jackets, and memorabilia from around the world, much of it donated by riders and enthusiasts over the years.

Museum Curator Kenny Thiebaud says the collection traces back to his childhood friend, Dan Rouit, who began gathering bikes in the late 1970s and early 1980s after suffering a life-changing injury.

β€œHe was up in the mountain by Jose Basin, and he just stepped on the wrong rock; it was slippery, and he fell, and at the end of it, his neck was broken,” Thiebaud said…
