The Maryville man responsible for a 2023 drunken driving accident that killed one person and injured two others will spend the next nine years in prison.
William Grant Odom, 37, of Raintree Drive, was arrested around 8:30 p.m. May 21, 2023, just over one hour after Blount County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a serious three-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Sevierville Road and Raintree Drive.
A Blount County grand jury indicted Odom in November 2023 on five counts, including vehicular homicide by intoxication, vehicular assault by intoxication and driving under the influence for a second offense. On Wednesday, Odom pleaded guilty to one count of vehicular homicide by intoxication and one count of vehicular assault. Blount County Circuit Court Judge Tammy M.
