‘Nowhere left to run’ Man wanted in Anderson County on attempted murder charge found

ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Multiple law enforcement agencies worked together to find a man wanted out of Anderson County on charges including attempted first-degree murder and domestic assault, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said.

Law enforcement found James Dustin Jenkins, 42, in a Roane County home Tuesday night, ACSO said. He was taken into custody without incident.

Members of the Anderson County 7th Judicial Task Force, the Oak Ridge Police Department, the Roane County Sheriff’s Office, the Rockwood Police Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol Aviation Unit, and the Crossville Police Department all worked together on this, ACSO said.

“You can change counties,” ACSO wrote. “You can hide in someone else’s house. You can hope we don’t find you. But when agencies come together like this… there’s nowhere left to run. We don’t stop. We don’t forget. And we will come get you.”…
