Journey’s “Final Frontier” tour, made a stop at Kentucky’s Rupp Arena, in Lexington, on Sunday, March 22nd. There was not an opening band, so attendees were treated to a full 2 ½ hour show. Arnel Pineda’s vocals were high energy and pumped up the fans with nostalgia from a much-loved band. Many fans were especially excited for Neal Schon’s mythic guitar playing. Viewed as a farewell tour, the band played many classic hits mixed in with deeper cuts. Some of the favorites from the setlist included: “Only the Young”, “When You Love a Woman”, “Faithfully”, “Wheel in the Sky”, “Any Way You Want It”, and the band’s anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin’.
