House ruled ‘complete loss’ following La Vergne fire

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A blaze broke out in La Vergne overnight, destroying a home and causing one person to be injured, officials said.

According to the City of La Vergne, the fire was reported along Hurricane Circle at approximately 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, and crews were on scene within four minutes. However, before first responders got there, one person was injured while being pulled from the house fire and was transported for medical care.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they saw flames engulfing about three-quarters of the home, but they brought the blaze under control in about 15 minutes, officials reported.

The city said the house is considered a “complete loss,” adding that the cause of the fire is still under investigation…
