Two traffic stops lead to multiple arrests in Livermore

Livermore Police made several arrests following two traffic stops on March 20 and March 21. The first stop occurred just after midnight on Bluebell Drive, where officers arrested James Aguilar, 31, of Gilroy, and George Nijmeh, 35, of Tracy. Aguilar had a warrant for drug charges, and officers found cocaine and MDMA packaged for sale. Nijmeh was in possession of Xanax.

The second stop happened around 1 a.m. on March 21, leading to the arrest of Edwin Viorato, 27, of Stockton, who was on probation for identity theft. Officers found a loaded .40 Hi-Point handgun. His passenger, Alejandro Chavezramirez, 25, of Stockton, had a switchblade. Both were taken into custody…
