NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — More than 4,000 patients in the Hampton Roads area could soon lose access to healthcare services as Fishing Point Healthcare prepares to pause its Medicaid-supported care amid a state investigation.
The clinic, which serves a large Medicaid population, said it will stop providing Medicaid-aided services on April 15. They tie that to being notified last April that payments on claims would be suspended due to the investigation into their personal care aide services.
