Harley-Davidson confirms cuts to global workforce

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Job cuts are coming to Harlley-Davidson, as the iconic Milwaukee company struggles with slumping sales.

A company spokesperson confirmed the workforce cuts Tuesday, saying in part, “Some employees have been notified yesterday of a reduction in force that is impacting our global workforce.”

Global retail motorcycle sales were down 12% in 2025, according to the company, who reported an operating loss of $29 million in 2025 compared to an operating income of $278 million the year prior…
