The Palmdale Sheriff’s Station team is competing in the Annual Baker to Vegas Relay Race from Baker, California, to Las Vegas, Nevada, this weekend. The 120-mile race includes 20 legs and attracts law enforcement teams nationwide. This year’s run honors Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, who was killed in the line of duty. Adrian Dares of Financial Risk Management Inc. has sponsored the Palmdale team for 12 years and was recently presented with a signed team photo and sheriff’s star in appreciation.
