SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) – A West Salem man was sentenced on Monday after he was arrested for driving while impaired and carrying a fully automatic handgun.
The Polk County District Attorney’s Office says 23-year-old Kyler Miller of West Salem was arrested following an incident at around 4 a.m. on Jan. 17, when a witness told Salem Police they saw an Audi sedan “doing cookies” on the grass field of West Salem Park.
Officers found the car with Miller inside several block from the park, and reportedly saw a loaded handgun inside the car that was modified to be fully automatic with an attached ammo drum.
