Honolulu firefighters rescued a man in his 50s who fell about 30 feet from the Kamaileunu Ridge Trail above Leihoku Street early Thursday morning, March 26. The Honolulu Fire Department received a 911 call at 5:14 a.m. and sent seven units with 19 personnel. Firefighters reached the man just before 6 a.m., provided basic life support, and airlifted him to a nearby landing zone. Emergency Medical Services took over care around 6:30 a.m., treating him for multiple injuries, including a possible head injury. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
