ANN ARBOR – Michigan defensive tackle Trey Pierce isn’t afraid to admit it.
Like many fans, he scrolls through social media to see what people are saying about his team. When it comes to criticism of the Wolverines’ defensive line, he takes it personally.
“I know you’re not supposed to do this, but I go online, I go on Twitter, and see, like, ‘Our interior d line needs help,’” Pierce told reporters Wednesday. “For me, I take that as a personal slight because I’ve been here four years, I played all four years and I see the work we put in behind the scenes. I think it’s just going to make us go harder. We’re going to show that we are strength of this team. We always have been, we always will be at Michigan.”…
