NEW FRANKLIN — Freshman New Franklin City Councilman Robert Klusty (at large) said his top priority upon taking office is to “understand the pulse of our city and the people who are its life blood.”
“They let their voices be known, and I don’t take that lightly,” said Klusty, who received the third-highest number of votes in the Nov. 4 General Election for three contested at-large seats — behind incumbents Judy Jones and Kevin Powell and ahead of incumbent Eric Stiles.
“I could pretend to already have that dialed in, but if we are being honest, it is ever changing,” Klusty continued. “The city’s needs change, as well as the needs of its residents. The residents put their faith in me. My next goal is earning their trust. Trust is earned and isn’t just given out. I need to earn that from the residents by my actions.”…
