MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – After more than a year of investigating, police have filed a murder charge against father of a three-month-old girl who died in 2024.
According to Marion Police Department, on September 12, 2024, officers responded to a residence on Carroll Street in Marion regarding an infant in cardiac arrest.
At the home officers located a girl approximately three-months-old in a bedroom unresponsive with her mother. Emergency personnel began giving the girl lifesaving treatment and she was transported to McDowell Hospital and later to Mission Hospital for further treatment…
