Rotterdam town supervisor urges VA to halt clinic closure

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (WRGB) — Rotterdam’s town supervisor is speaking out against the closure of the Veterans Administration clinic in his town.

As CBS6 reported on Monday, the Veterans Administration plans to close the outpatient clinic on Altamont Avenue after nearly 30 years.

The VA says this is part of an effort to expand and improve services and is directing patients to other clinics, including those in Clifton Park, Fonda, Oneonta, and the Albany VA Medical Center…
