ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) -More than 300 volunteers spent the day, March 26, building homes at the Southwood redevelopment in Albemarle County, helping move one of the region’s largest housing projects forward.
The work is part of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville’s 2026 Women Build — a month-long effort focused on raising the walls of five homes in the Southwood community.
