Surf Shack Coastal Kitchen at 12217 W. Linebaugh Ave. in Westchase shut its doors on March 22. The space will undergo a two-month makeover. After that, it’ll become the fourth Eddie’s Bar and Grill spot. The restaurant had fed customers since 2011.
This new spot marks another step for the sports bar chain that began in Dunedin back in 1985. Eddie’s now has locations in Bay Pines and Largo, with the Largo site set to open late in 2025.
Stephen Bishop owns the spot through his Excellence in Restaurants hospitality group.
