FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Officials at Clovis Unified are “evaluating appropriate consequences” after a threat was made from one student to another at an elementary school, the school district confirmed to YourCentralValley.com on Thursday.
According to Clovis Unified, a student at Boris Elementary made a verbal threat to another student, which was reported to the administration on Wednesday. The Fresno Police Department later responded as well, and a general incident report was taken.
YourCentralValley.com has been told that the threat was a student claiming he had a firearm in his backpack and was going to use it.
Clovis Unified School District added that an investigation into the incident established that there was no credible threat. Officials add that they are “evaluating appropriate consequences moving forward.” Fresno Police’s own statement on the incident also confirmed the threats “were not credible.”…
