Beloved news anchor diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer after seizure

Fox Carolina evening news anchor Tori Carmen is back on air and cancer-free nearly one year after being diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor that upended her life and accelerated her wedding plans.

Carmen, now 38, learned she had a grade 3 anaplastic meningioma after experiencing a seizure in late February 2025, according to PEOPLE. The Greenville resident traveled to Chicago for brain surgery and radiation treatment before returning to work in July with a reduced schedule.
