‘Candy boys are here’: New ordinance cracks down on kids selling candy outside stores

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI — Oshtemo Township is cracking down on kids selling candy outside commercial businesses.

A revised ordinance now requires individuals who are selling goods — regardless of the seller’s age —to be part of “a recognized charitable organization registered with the township or obtain a valid hawkers and peddlers license.”
