Former MSU WR Nick Marsh ‘ripped’ by new head coach Curt Cignetti over cleats

Former Michigan State star wide receiver Nick Marsh received a rude awakening during his first spring practice with the defending national champions.

Indiana opened its spring practice this week and Hoosiers coach Curt Cignetti shared a story about the Spartans’ former star wide receiver. It came in the form of a shot at the Spartans (or at least the previous coaching staff at Michigan State).

Cignetti said Marsh “learned what getting your ass ripped is all about” after he wore gold cleats to the Hoosiers’ first practice. Cignetti went on to take a slight jab at Michigan State, stating he doesn’t know “if that happened to him very often” with the Spartans…
