MNPD: 1 sought, 2 in custody after breaking into vehicle in East Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two suspects were taken into custody and another is on the run after officers said they were caught breaking into a vehicle in East Nashville.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, detectives with the TITANS unit were sent to the 600 block of Main Street Wednesday night to respond to a report about three men breaking into a vehicle.

At some point during the investigation, detectives reportedly found three men—identified as 20-year-old Keandrez Byrd, 26-year-old Howard Gordon, and 24-year-old Robert McWilliams—walking along Main Street.

The MNPD said Byrd and Gordon were taken into custody, but McWilliams ran away, dropping his wallet and a screwdriver…
