Florida Measles Cases Rise to 140, Collier Teens Most Affected

Florida has reported a total of 140 measles cases as of mid-March, with seven new cases recently confirmed. The majority of these new infections involve teenagers in Collier County, while one case involves a child under four in Broward County.

Health officials indicate that most of these infections are linked to unvaccinated or under-vaccinated individuals. The 15-19 age group in Florida has the highest number of reported cases, with 59 infections, followed by the 20-24 age group with 45 cases.
