Washington County Man Receives Life Sentence in 2023 Semmes Killing and Robbery Case

A Washington County man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being convicted in a 2023 killing that shook the Semmes community.

Jeffery Holley has been sentenced to life in prison, along with an additional 30 years, for first-degree robbery and the murder of Alan “Bama” Williams. The sentencing follows a jury’s decision in January 2026, when Holley was found guilty on all charges.
