On February 15, 2026, police responded to a home on the 2100 block of Larkin St after reports of a woman yelling for help. Officers found an adult female who said a man followed her home, forced his way inside, and tried to sexually assault her. She managed to escape and call for help.
The SFPD Special Victims Unit took over the case. The next day, on February 16, 2026, officers found the suspect, 34-year-old Daquane Hubbard, at a residence on the 900 block of Geary St. He was arrested and booked into San Francisco County Jail on multiple felony charges.
