JAMUL, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A structure fire in a rural area east of Jamul sparked a vegetation fire Thursday morning.
Cal Fire received a call about a potential trailer on fire around 10:40 a.m. in the area of 17088 Skyline Truck Trail, about eight miles east of Jamul. However, officials told FOX 5/KUSI they were working to confirm whether the structure that was on fire was a trailer or a shed.
The flames spread from the structure and spread to nearby vegetation, Cal Fire said. As of 11:15 a.m., the fire was about a quarter acre with a slow rate of spread.
The fire did not pose a threat to other structures, and crews are actively working to stop the spread…
