Nursed back to health after cocaine exposure, Richmond dog now up for adoption

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – A dog that turned up “wobbly” and vomiting in Richmond last week tested positive for cocaine, but after some rest and supportive care at the city shelter, he’s back to wagging his tail.

Now, he’s up for adoption.

Richmond Animal Care and Control said it started when they received a call about an unsteady dog. An officer responded and found the dog struggling to walk and vomiting, then brought him to the shelter…
