TOLEDO, Ohio โ In an update ahead of its impending closure, Siena Heights University is advising its students and alumni to secure transcripts and diplomas as soon as possible.
Teach-out and transfer information
According to a press release from Siena Heights, the institution provided additional information regarding student transfers and teach-out agreements. It said it has secured 53 transfer pathways and 18 teach-out agreements, which ensure students have a defined academic pathway aligned with their program of choice. It added that students don’t necessarily have to begin their studies at another institution immediately following its closure; students can still begin their studies with a partner institution as late as January 2027, Siena Heights said.
The university said it aims to make the transition process as smooth as possible for students.

Transcript and diploma requests
The university also said it was urgent that students and alumni request their transcripts and diplomas as soon as possible. It said orders should be placed to the Registrar’s Office to ensure the fastest possible processing time. Once the university closes, all transcript and records requests will go through a third-party.
