Subpoena targets contract for ‘Madd Marvin’ gun safety event in Baton Rouge corruption probe

Baton Rouge City Hall was hit with a subpoena this week by criminal investigators seeking information about a contract for an event where a man facing a murder charge taught kids about gun safety, sources said.

The subpoena, served Wednesday afternoon, demands records related to contractor Roderick Shannon, according to sources with direct knowledge of the investigation.
