Affidavit reveals Frenship ISD teacher planned secret meeting with juvenile

LUBBOCK, Texas — More details were revealed regarding the Frenship ISD 5th-grade teacher who was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor.

Court documents explain that a report was filed with the LPD HQ Front Desk regarding the charge of Online Solicitation of a Minor. The reporting party alleged that Nicholas Alonzo, 29, was participating in inappropriate communications with a juvenile student.

On Monday, March 23, the juvenile participated in a forensic interview and told Lubbock authorities that she and Alonzo were using social media to communicate and to arrange to meet in public outside of school. Court documents stated that the juvenile and Alonzo also met near her residence in secret on one occasion.

Court documents state that the content of the messaging between the juvenile and Alonzo included inappropriate contact and sneaking away together, with some messages including lewd sexual acts.
