SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A family has spent 33 years searching for answers after a Springfield man was killed while heading to his early morning job.
Someone found Frank Stanton, 48, slumped over in his truck near East Republic Road and National Avenue in south Springfield around 4:30 a.m. on June 10, 1993. An autopsy later found a small-caliber bullet.
Stanton was heading to his second job delivering newspapers. Investigators have struggled to determine why the single father was killed. They found very little evidence and no eyewitnesses…
