Forest Service crews will continue an understory burn in the Galena Creek area of south Reno on Thursday and Friday, weather permitting, as part of ongoing wildfire mitigation work.
The planned burn follows a roughly 20-acre operation last week and is expected to cover about 40 acres. Residents and visitors in the area should expect to see smoke over the next few days.
