SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane filmmaker is making waves in the horror genre after winning a contest that comes with a substantial budget to bring his vision to life.
Jesse James Hennessy won a competition held by independent multimedia company Bloody Disgusting, earning him a $35,000 budget to produce a short film. The project will tell the origin story of the company’s mascot, Buzzkill.
