Man wanted after withdrawing $13k from victim’s bank account

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are looking for a man who allegedly withdrew $13,000 from a victim’s bank account in the Wolfchase Area in January.

Police said at around 11:40 a.m., officers responded to a forgery complaint that occurred at 7845 Highway 64.

Officers said on January 22, an unknown male entered the Orion Federal Credit Union, presented an ID to the employee, gained access to the victim’s account, and withdrew $13,000.

According to MPD, the victim went to the bank and advised the staff that it was an unauthorized withdrawal.
