One person arrested following fentanyl and meth bust in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — One person has been arrested following a narcotics investigation in Monroe County, according to Sheriff Tommy Jones.

Authorities said the investigation focused on suspected distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine in the Hudgins Mill community of Madisonville.

During the investigation, agents executed a search that uncovered what Sheriff Jones described as “felony amounts” of fentanyl and methamphetamine. Deputies also recovered a large amount of cash, along with items commonly associated with drug distribution and other drug paraphernalia…
