Man arrested after an armed bank robbery also tried to rob a second bank, N.J. police say

Authorities have arrested a man accused of robbing a TD Bank at gunpoint earlier this month.

Kenneth Grant, 58, of South Toms River, was arrested by detectives and U.S. Marshals in Essex County on Thursday morning, the Lacey Township Police Department said in a statement.

Grant was wanted on warrants for armed robbery, terroristic threats and multiple weapons offenses. He has since also been charged with criminal attempt — armed robbery…
