Flags to fly at half-staff Friday for NY National Guard major and NYPD officer

Flags across New York will be lowered to half-staff Today in honor of Major Sorffly Davius, a New York Army National Guard officer and NYPD police officer who died earlier this month while deployed overseas.

Davius, 46, of Queens, died March 6 at Camp Buehring in Kuwait after suffering a medical episode while on active duty, according to military and police officials.
