Docs: Burglary suspect who assaulted Myrtle Beach police officer was tased multiple times

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Documents detail the struggle Myrtle Beach police officers had taking a burglary suspect who allegedly resisted arrest into custody.

Police arrested John Littrell, 42, on Wednesday, and he is facing multiple charges, including two counts of second-degree burglary, attempted armed robbery, assault while resisting arrest and first-degree assault and battery.

Officers responded around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday to the 1200 block of Arezzo Avenue for a robbery.

In this case, Littrell approached someone and attempted to take their golf bags filled with clubs, according to arrest warrants…
