I know we are always talking about how crazy the weather is here in Amarillo. I mean, many were wearing shorts on Christmas Day. The spring is not springing either. It’s like we bypassed it and moved right on to summer. It seems we have had more hot days than cooler ones.

Oh, and did I mention that spring just recently started? So we have a lot of that left until we do finally make it to summer. The hot temperatures that we have been experiencing in our city have got people talking.
I have seen the question more than once about when the splash pads will open. They are not opening any earlier than normal just because Amarillo has gotten all crazy. I know we have experienced the 90s and have the possibility to hit 100 this week, but it is not changing the schedule.
