Kim Mulkey has revealed that a minor bout of finger numbness led to the discovery of a near-fatal heart blockage, and the LSU women’s basketball coach is now using her experience to urge others to prioritize their health before it is too late.
The story began in May 2023, just weeks after Mulkey, who saw her star player burst into “real tears” in a March Madness game, had guided LSU to the national championship.
