Statement from Mayor John Horhn on the service of Sheriff Tyree Jones as Jackson Police Chief:
I want to extend my thanks to Sheriff Tyree Jones for stepping up to lead the Jackson Police Department during an important time for our city. His leadership and understanding of both community needs and law enforcement helped ensure a smooth transition while we worked to identify our next chief.
