HOUSTON (CW39) — A Houston police officer shot and killed a man in an officer-involved shooting in the Gulfton area of southwest Houston on Wednesday, police said.
The incident happened at an apartment complex located at 5905 Glenmont Drive around 3:30 p.m.
Officers were called to the scene after a call about a man carrying a gun in a pink purse. Officers arrived at the scene and encounter the man and gave him verbal orders, which he ignored, police said.
