TOWN OF TURTLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Friends are grieving the death of 14-year-old Kuren Rein, who was found dead in a Rock County home during a police welfare check on Friday. A 41-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with her death.
Aimee Sorenson, of Beloit, said her stepson was friends with Rein, who was a freshman at Beloit Memorial High School.
“She was always fun to be around. And I would say he brought out the best in our son, because he can be very quiet and shy and she was always very laughy and giggly and always just super friendly and respectful,” Sorenson told WKOW. “Just all the things that she’s going to miss out on. They’ll all hurt. All her friends get to go forward and have those memories and they won’t have those included in those.”…
