Beloit city manager applicants narrowed to six

BELOIT — The Beloit City Council is progressing quickly in its search for a new city manager, with plans to introduce the community to finalists at a forum set for April 13.

City officials received 44 applications for the city manager position by the deadline, which was March 13.

During a special meeting on Wednesday, March 25, the City Council narrowed down the field of applicants to six people who will advance in the process. Council members now will schedule interviews with the semifinalists for the position, according to a news release from the city office of strategic communication.
