ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Dozens of community members gathered to talk about one thing many say impacts every neighborhood: trust between police and the community.
The conversation was held at the RPL Nordlof Center and focused on the topic of community policing, a strategy that encourages officers and residents to work together to address issues before it escalates.
