SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A 69-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday after he reportedly threatened to shoot his neighbors, prompting a SWAT standoff at a residence in the 1900 block of North Greenacres Road.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), law enforcement first responded to the residence around 12:05 p.m., following reports of a dispute involving an armed suspect making threats towards his neighbors.
Deputies contacted the two victims, who said they were doing yard work when the suspect began shouting at them and making threats. The victims recorded the suspect yelling, “I’ll put a bullet right in your (expletive) head!”
