In the best traditions of a foundational democratic city, a petition has been organised to summon a public conversation on the crisis at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where the chief conductor has been sacked against the unanimous wishes of the musicians.
Even the Boston Globe has protested that the orchestra is being ‘torn apart at the seams‘ for no good reason.
Something has to be done…
