Crozet Elementary School will have a new leader this summer. Principal Staci England is retiring after four years at the school, and Dr. Stephen Saunders, currently principal at Greer Elementary, will take over on July 1, 2026.
England guided Crozet through a major expansion that added space for about 220 more students. Saunders has led Greer since 2019 and previously served as principal at Baker-Butler Elementary, where the school earned national recognition for closing achievement gaps.
