Fire officials urge caution in outside burns after several reported brushfires in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department is urging people to use caution when burning brush, debris and downed trees as dry weather continues across Tennessee.

CVFD also noted that a burn permit is required from October 15 to May 15.

“Notably, Montgomery County has experienced a brush fire almost daily in March, with at least 10 incidents reported on this side of the river,” CVFD said…
